When to Step Up to a Specialist Series

• Hardened steel above 50 HRC – use the X5070 series. A general purpose cutter will not survive in that hardness band.
• Aluminium and non-ferrous – use ALU-POWER. A steel geometry will build up on the edge in aluminium within seconds.
• Heavy roughing at high feed rates – use TiPhoon, which has the roughing tooth profile and chip evacuation designed for it.
